Lidia Sek is an international actress of Korean and Armenian descent, who has worked in Europe and the United States. Lidia was originally born in Siberia and only one month later, her family emigrated to Odessa/Ukraine, where she started her dancing career with the Russian ballet academy at the age of 6. In 1995 her family emigrated again, this time to Germany and she continued dancing with the German ballet academy. She rapidly discovered her passion for theater and started studying acting at the age of 15. Lidia began working in German film and television and appeared in several films and TV shows, such as 'Niedrig und Kuhnt' and 'SOKO Koeln'. However, in 2007 she decided to polish her craft, traveled to New York and got accepted into the prestigious William Esper Studio's professional 2-year Meisner actor training program and completed the Conservatory Program under the tutelage of William Esper. Since her move to New York, Lidia has been seen in both independent film and television, including 'The Anatomy Of The Lonely', 'New York Decalogue' and 'Damages'.
