Harper’s Bazaar: 150 Years!


November 2. 1867 saw the first ever issue of Harper’s Bazaar published… we’ll save you the mathematics, that’s a grand 150 years, or 15 decades ago! It’s amazing to think of! So, just how can you celebrate such a feat? How about projecting a light show onto the Empire State Building?! That is exactly what Harper’s Bazaar did. The leading fashion magazine took over the city skyline and projected their most recognizable images onto the landmark.

The event was as star-studded as you’d imagine, Kendall Jenner assisted the editor in chief Glenda Bailey flip the switch to get the celebrations started and industry greats such as Vera Wang, Coco Rocha, and Ralph Lauren turned out for the event.
