Want to meet the winner? … you will be amazed by her makeup skills and her Halloween makeup costume! Read on and learn more about the grand winner Rachel!
Now we want to get to know more about Rachel’s Halloween Make-Up and her passion for it.
ModelManagement: Congrats! You’ve been the winner of the #MMhalloween contest! Why did you decide to participate? How did you find out about the contest?
Rachel M.: I found out about the contest through the ModelManagement.com’s page on Facebook. So when I saw that they were having a contest I thought I’d enter it!
MM: Can you tell us a bit about your Halloween costume? The one you won the contest with.
RM: I didn’t have a theme or anything I was going with for my Halloween Costume. I wanted to do something for school that day and the idea of the bones and flowers was suggested to me by a few friends.
MM: What do you expect from your Premium Unlimited Membership on ModelManagement.com?
RM: I’m not sure what to expect, modeling is something I’ve recently started thinking about for a side career, so any opportunities I’d get from this would be amazing!
MM: You are very young! –only 15 years old – and you already know your profession – Makeup Artist and body painter! How does that come so early?
RM: I’ve always had a love for makeup, I’ve been trying new things and experimenting with it for years; practicing whenever I could. I’ve never had a passion for anything else but this, so when I started the face/ body painting I took off with it. It seemed to come naturally for me, even though there are areas where I can still improve on. I hope to make a successful career out of this.
MM: What was your most exiting job until now? What made it so special?
RM: I haven’t had a ton of opportunities yet to work and do makeup, but I have recently worked at Fright Manor Haunted House, doing makeup of course. That was my first job I had but I loved it. Everyone there was always kind to me and treated me with respect, even though I was so much younger than most of them. I hope and plan to go back and work there again.
MM: Your style is very unique! When and why did you decide to look so expressive? What do you want to transmit by that?
RM: I’ve always wanted to stand out, to be different. I didn’t want to be like everyone else at my school and do the same things as them. When I started high school, I really started to finally show who I am, I was bullied a lot during my freshman year and still sometimes during my sophomore year. Finally, people started to accept me. I’ve become known for my sense of style and my makeup. The one thing I’m a huge supporter of is anti-bullying. I don’t want others to go through the same thing I did, so I try to help as much as I can.
