Conceptual Nylon-Based Editorial Shoots (TFP – Zurich/Baden)

Hi! I’m Arturo, a portrait and editorial photographer based in Switzerland. I’m currently working on an ongoing series titled Threads of Obscura, which explores surreal fashion, nostalgia, and experimental styling. A central visual element in the project is the use of nylon garments and textures. I’m looking for open-minded models interested in collaborating on three creative concepts. Each shoot will take around 1–2 hours and take place in either Zurich or Baden. These are TFP (Time for Prints) sessions — you’ll receive professionally edited images for your portfolio. The focus is on creative exploration and fun collaboration. The Three Concepts 1. Executive Elegance Meets Sports Formal clothing meets unexpected movement: a woman dressed in business or elegant attire doing physical activities such as calisthenics, jump rope, or basketball. The contrast is key, and props like old telephones will be used to add visual irony and humor. Ideal if you have some basic experience in one of these activities! 2. Summer Nylons in Unusual Locations We’ll photograph the contrast of layered nylon outfits in warm, everyday summer settings — for example, drinking coffee or reading in the sun at a park bench or street corner. This concept is about storytelling, detail, and visual contrast. 3. Nostalgic & Mood-Driven Portraits A more atmospheric session focused on personal expression and emotional tone. These portraits aim to evoke feelings of longing, memory, and introspection. Requirements Comfortable with nylon garments (tights, stockings, etc.) as a core part of the styling. Interest in visually contrasting, concept-based shoots. No nudity or explicit themes — the focus is fashion and narrative. For Concept 1: Some familiarity with movement (e.g., basic jump rope, calisthenics, basketball, etc.) is a plus. Basic communication in English, or we can try my bad German, or Italian. When & Where Locations: Zurich or Baden Possible dates: June 18, July 2, or July 16 (afternoon or early evening) Compensation TFP (collaboration) — you will receive edited images for portfolio use Note on Style The aesthetic is somewhat unconventional and inspired by fetish subcultures.
