Sobre mí

Cirujano Vascular de profesión. Fotógrafo apasionado. Santiago, Chile.
Me inicié en la fotografía a los 15 años. Ya sumo bastantes años capturando imágenes.
El tiempo me ha permitido aprender de grandes maestros, conocer otros fotógrafos y estar en permanente aprendizaje, tratado de desarrollar un estilo pero también experimentar e innovar.

Si bien tengo experiencia en estudio, los viajes me han enseñado que la fotografía callejera, el retrato urbano, la búsqueda del personaje local, son temáticas que me gustan mucho. Como lugares favoritos para esta temática tengo los cerros de Valparaíso y las calles, pasajes y rincones del barrio de San Telmo en Buenos Aires.

Soy un convenido de que la conversación con el personaje, con el/la modelo, permiten obtener más que una imagen un concepto. La esencia de la persona está más allá de imagen inicial.

Tal vez en algún viaje nos encontremos.

I started in photography at age 15. I already add enough years capturing images.
Time has allowed me to learn from great teachers, meet other photographers and be in permanent learning, tried to develop a style but also experiment and innovate.

Although I have experience in studio, travel has taught me that street photography, urban portrait, the search for the local character, are themes that I like very much. As favorite places for this theme I have the hills of Valparaíso and the streets, passages and corners of the San Telmo neighborhood in Buenos Aires.

I am agreed that the conversation with the character, with the model, allows to obtain more than one image a concept. The essence of the person is beyond the initial image.

Maybe on some trip we will meet.
