Devi Vanhon is half Cambodian (grand-daughter of Princess Norodom Thiek) and half Swiss. She was born and she grew up in Switzerland, moved to South-East Asia when she was 14 years old and has been living in Cambodia for the past eleven years.
Devi holds a degree in economics and has then studied law for three years, but
through fate, she met people from the radio industry at a concert in Phnom Penh in March of 2008. That was the beginning of a great adventure. She joined the 97.5 Love FM team and started working at the radio, hosting a daily show. She is also a DJ and has played in various clubs in Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville, and Saigon. She is known to her fans by the name of DJ Radioactive Anne. From December 2008 to April 2009, Devi was also TV Presenter on Apsara TV, where she hosted a daily show in French called "Correspondances". Devi decided to take a break from the broadcast media world to open Cambodia's first ballet school in April 2012, the Central School of Ballet Phnom Penh. Although ballet has been her primary focus for the past three years, Devi has now returned to radio, joining the newest kid on the block, Radio One FM 103.7. Devi also works as a model (promotional mainly) and can sometimes be seen gracing pages of local magazines. She is also a voice recording artist, frequently lending her voice to Cellcard. She has now started a new and exciting project with her best friend, the beautiful and talented Anja Diepold, forming the musical duo Anya & Devi. Devi also sings solo and with other musicians, and has also returned to DJing.
