Cinematic art project - Europe

These summer months, I will focus on a holistic approach to creating images. This translates from blending various practices of past years and merging them into a seamless photographic timeline. The idea is to create works that each has its own distinct voice but also act together with other images, in an overarching manner. In a way if could be seen as a photographic “fugue”, as many voices coming together, as each retains its own theme, its own distinct voice. Two casting calls with be posted here. One for in person shooting and one for remote shooting. The locations are limited to Europe (Greece, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Germany, other countries might be considered) It is also possible to combine both remote and on location shootings, something I have done prior on many occasions. These shared creative experiences are unique, deeply subversive and my approach focuses on blending fact and fiction, realism and the imaginary, looking for transient and fleeting moments they play on notions of past, present and at time even future. It is not static shooting, posed modeling, but rather invites flow of expression and I am always there to assist, suggest, guide, exchange and discover alongside those I shoot with. It is where I find creative expressions, whereas I seek something meaningful to me in my creative intentions. Sharing and being open to the moments, is essential to my practice. There is a fair bit more to share and unpack about my directions and how I plan to navigate these lesser-known photographic expressions. For this I invite those interested to join me in a call for further discussions, Q&A’s and everything that becomes relevant in addressing. This might include images, PDF’s from previous complete project and so on. This is solely an artistic project, I author for myself, my own soul if you will and it is not a commercial endeavor. I do appreciate the many creative souls I have met along the way of my practice and besides the experience and unique premises I open to discuss some arrangement for covering accommodation and food. My projects are mostly suitable for those who seek to find original expression themselves and are drawn to storytelling and lyricism in visual works. I wish you a great day.
