...“in 1998, I came to Rio de Janeiro from Piauí and brought with me my northeaster essence, which is now cosmopolitan – I cut my umbilical cord, but I never lost touch with my roots”.
Caddah works with fashion photography, advertising, fine-art, portrait, as well as editorials, contributing to renowned magazines and publishing companies, such as Joyce Pascowitch, Carta Editorial, Globo Condé Nast, Editora3, TOP Magazine, Abril, Fotosite, Trip, Getty Images, Rolling Stone, FFW, among others, both in Brasil and abroad, thus blending commercial photography with poetic and social languages.
Since 2001, as a volunteer at Casa de Apoio a Criança com Câncer Santa Teresa (CACCST), he has developed photographic projects and recreational activities. Caddah’s work was globally recognized by the prizes awarded by Nikon Photo Contest International (NPCI 2002/2003) and Unesco, in Japan.
His fine-art images have been exhibited at Museu da República do Rio de Janeiro (2009), FOTORIO (2003-2009), Portuguese Embassy (Brasília, 2002), SESC RIO (2005/2010), SESC Dance Biennale (Santos 2011), IPHAN (Tiradentes 2001), Mostra SP Foto 2012, among many others. Nowadays, Caddah lives in São Paulo.
