About me
My name is Jinmi-Ahisu Olayinka Viavo, fondly called Ahisu, I'm a photographer and cinematographer born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Master’s in Media and communication. I started my creative journey in photography in 2014 after my first graduation, and in late 2019, after working with one of the leading creative advertising agencies and freelancing in Nigeria, I decided to move to Toronto, ON, Canada, to learn and grow my passion for filmmaking into a skill.
I take great pride in creating an experience that enables me to capture memorable moments and the essence of my subjects’ personalities. I am interested in creating fashion and lifestyle content, but at my core, I want to create intimate and timeless portraits, regardless of the medium. I also love playing video games, listening to music and watching TV series.
