Skillful, passionate, innovative and dedicated to my craft.
Having started my education at the Face to Face make-up design school in Durban,South Africa I achieved an International ITEC diploma in fashion, theatre and media make-up artistry. In November 2012 I then went on to having the opportunity to work with Maria Valaskatzis (Director at Face to Face)which led to amazing experience working backstage at the Eastern Bridal Fair fashion show 2012 held at the International Durban Conventional Centre and the South African India film and television awards in March 2013.
I have worked on many high fashion and creative photo shoots which exposed me to developing the ability to work under different lighting conditions and various make-up looks and personalities. Also had the pleasure to having long standing working relationships with Eugene de Bruin (at EAC photography) & Lyle Simms (at LSP photography) and sharing my innovated, crazy themes that I would come up with for the shoots.Others include Ocean driven media,Neas & Divi media. As well as agencies such as Glamorous models and models international modeling agencies.
Recently in March 2016 I achieved one of my goals which was to attend AOFM (Academy of freelance makeup) in the United Kingdom,London right in the heart of Soho.It was here that I had obtained a professional make-up and session stylist certificate.
I have been taught by some of the leading make-up artists in the industry including one of AOFMs pro tutors ,Carolyn Lope, who was crowned the CIBTAC Body Artist of the year in 2010 and others to mention,YIN-LEE,BABARA CARRANZA,ANGELA DEAKIN,VALENTINA CRETI,MICHELLE WEBB.Also did a shoot with hair stylist and makeup artist Oscar Alexander and photographer Lou Denim here in London.
An important element to being a good make-up artist is to have extensive product knowledge and I worked with the most prestigious & luxury make-up brands such as MAC,DERMALOGICA,SHU UEMURA,NARS,BOBBI BROWN,MAKEUP FOREVER,BENEFIT,INGLOT,SMASHBOX,NYX,DIOR,CHANNEL,CHARLO-TTE TILBURY
