I studied Photography and Visual Media for my Undergraduate in Korea. Then, I moved to New York to take Masters in Fine Arts based on Photography at the Pratt Institute. I have worked for Korean publications such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Ceci, Grazia and Nylon as a feature section photographer. I have also shot fashion brand lookbooks, online fashion catalogues and collection lookbooks for new-and-upcoming designers in New York City includes Fig Collective and O'2nd.
During my time in New York, I met with a lot of celebrity chefs, designers, artists, musicians and actors which has meant that I have worked with a broad range of beauty, lifestyle, food and commercial photography. I have also worked as an Assistant Photographer at YONGJANGKWAN (Hong Jang Hyun and Choi Yong Bin) Studio where I became very familiar with the fast paced photo studio environment and am an expert with handling equipment, lighting, composition and post production. I am able to help with both the technical skills needed to conceive a project and also to create unique conceptual ideas for projects.
With my experience in both Fashion and Art, I am always open to creative collaborations between fashion and art.
