I am an editorial portrait photographer based in Amsterdam. I’m recreating iconic masterpieces by Dutch Golden Age masters—Rembrandt, Vermeer, Van Gogh, and others—through a contemporary photoshoot that brings timeless art to life. I’m looking for real people to embody the characters found in these legendary works of art. Whether you're a seasoned model or simply someone with a striking presence or character – I want to see you. Who I'm Looking For: All Genders | All Ethnicities | All Backgrounds | Ages 18 to 80 I'm casting a wide range of personalities and body types to suit the narratives of 17th–19th century Dutch portraits. Especially seeking: Mature faces with character and expression Women with classic or unconventional beauty Men with bold features or unique presence Seniors with life in their eyes and stories on their faces Individuals who naturally suit roles like merchants, farmers, artists, or everyday townspeople You do not need modeling experience — just authenticity, confidence, and the ability to be still and expressive. ?
