Art project / cinematic - Europe

Ι am an artist working with photography and I create series of images that bind together to form lyrical atmosphere. My work essentially positions between narrative and poetry forms. I will be shooting in different locations across Europe. For July in Greece (accommodation provided), and in August in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and France. The settings will mostly focus on nature but will consider urban and indoors locations as well. I will combine a variety of creative intentions drawing from cinematic photography to Japanese photography of the 60’s and 70’s. In each of these creative intentions will seek a unique voice but several of the sessions will become unified bodies of work. I will focus on portraiture and the human body. I will also continue shooting Japanese Shibari in ways that differ from more formalistic western shibari . My creative intentions for shibari spring mostly from my own practice over the years and align well with the “wabi-sabi” approach. It is a deep connection practice that I combine with photography. For those Interested specifically into this practice, I will share examples from previous sessions, per your request.
