Casting German Actors for Short Comedy

PROJECT DESCRIPTION German actors needed for a short comedy/romance film in Munich. Audition is on the 16th of June and the shooting dates are June 26th-28th. Remuneration is 500€ and includes food and transport costs. Logline: Blue to the sky follows the story of Basil, a socially awkward early 30s man, who is afraid of talking to women. Basil has suffered months of failed attempts to talk to his crush, a girl catching the same bus to work as him every morning, only to send her to anaphylaxis accidentally in his last attempt. ROLES: JEMMA (LEAD FEMALE) Jemma is an early 30s disability support teacher. She is quirky and very mysterious. She is always wearing bright colors and bold patterns. Jemma lives in her world of books, often missing the world go by as her head is always buried in a book. BASIL (LEAD MALE) Basil is an early 30s dork who suffers from social awkwardness, particularly with women. He is eccentric and sweet to a fault, with child-like innocence. Clumsy as hell, and really not punctual. He is unfortunately unlucky with women, and his nerves always get the better of him. EMILY (MINOR ROLE FEMALE) A business professional who waits for the bus to work at the same bus stop as Jemma and Basil one morning. ACTOR PROFILE - Ages 25-35 - German
