My name is Ginta. I am from Lithuania, a Baltic State.
I grew up and got educated, then, in Soviet Union. I got degree in Civil Engineering and got my first job as a civil engineer. When Soviet Union collapsed I lost my job, because our work and projects was connected with all Soviet Union Republics.
I decided to study again, this time in Social Care. After my degree in Social Care I started work with Victims of Domestic Violence, which was something new, a project from Sweden.
In 2004, I came to UK, and since then working successfully in Social and Health care. I am a Care Team Manager in residential home with special needs (dementia). It is not easy to see a person through his/her illness and understand their needs. You need to have a lot of passion, knowledge and love… I love my job.
I am a fit and sporty person. For 15 years I played basketball in my youth with Lithuanian national team. I never stop exercising, even now I swim two times per week. I also love to walk.
I like knitting, reading, listening classical music. I also go opera and ballet, and try to visit all kinds of art exhibitions.
My first language is Lithuanian, but I can talk and read in Russian too, also can understand Polish.
Last year, I shaved my hair for Cancer Research fundraising purposed. I still keep my hair short with its natural grey colour. Doing this gave me more confidence.
By registering with Model Management, I would like to try something different. I’m comfortable with all variety of people.
