She was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, on October 4th, 1976.
Since she was young, divided her time between her studies and the practice of different artistic disciplines: Acting, Dancing, Music.
Later, she trained for two years in Acting for Cinema with the Director Gabriel Pérez Gleicher, Professor of “ECU – Escuela de Cine del Uruguay” (Cinema School of Uruguay). With him, she worked intensively on subjects such as: Improvisation, Concentration, Given Circumstances, Bonds, Physical Actions, Emotional Memory and Text Scripts. This training was mainly based on the Stanislavski Method.
A few years after, seeking to absorb different educational approaches as well as new experiences, Laura decided to travel to Argentina, every weekend during a whole year, to attend theater classes at “EFA – Escuela de Formación Actoral” (Actoral Training School), with its Director, Néstor Romero, and with the Professors Teresa Calero and Dalila Romero.
At “Escuela del Actor – Espacio Federico García Lorca” (Actor´s School - Uruguay), she performed a Scenic Combat workshop, learning handling of classic swords as well as contact blows.
In 2015, at the Arts Educational Schools of London (England), attended a theoretical and practical class based on a text of Shakespeare. The same year, Laura obtained her first role for cinema in the film "Migas de Pan" (Breadcrumbs), Spanish-Uruguayan co-production by Director Manane Rodríguez.
Throughout all these years she has attended to several workshops of “Acting for Camera”.
She has also played on TV and cinema ads, with a leading role as well as supporting and extra.
In 2016 she decided to leave her job in Montevideo to move to Europe and expand her artistic horizons.
In Madrid, she continued her acting studies at the "Central de Cine", with its Director Eva Lesmes; also, Laura took a singing course with Professor Coral Antón, at "Coral Antón Escuela de Teatro Musical y Artes Escénicas” (Coral Antón School of Musical Theater and Performing Arts).
Laura has studied piano for some time and speaks different languages: she is fluent in Spanish, English, Portuguese, and Italian.
