About me
My name is Liene and I am an American-Latvian originally from Santa Barbara, California. I have been modeling on and off for a couple of years and I have experience in almost every type of modeling including swimsuit, runway, glamour and catalog. I also have experience in commercial acting, having been in a handful of national network commercials here in the US. In addition to being Latvian, I am also part(albeit a very small amount) Ethiopian which has given me my naturally kinky/curly hair.
I am very active. Having grown up in Southern California where the beach or mountains are always accessible, I naturally love any outdoor activity like surfing and backpacking. I also take kickboxing and yoga classes several times a week. Aside from sports and exercising, I'm an aspiring DJ. I love music of almost all genres(even bluegrass/country music occasionally) and I often spend hours searching for great new artists or songs through music platforms like soundcloud, HypeMachine and TuneDen.
I graduated from UCLA in 2013 with a degree in International Development, and while I plan to find work in that field eventually, right now I am pursuing modeling with all my heart; it has been a goal of mine ever since I was scouted at the age of 16. Even though I have a great deal of experience, most of the work I have found over the years was found without agency representation-mostly through Instagram, Facebook, friends, etc. I was signed with a boutique agency in Los Angeles for some time but the booker/agent that brought me on ended up leaving the agency and things sort of fell apart from there. I have been looking for a new agency ever since. I sincerely hope that model management.com will help me find a great, reputable agency that will help me develop and build my career as a model.
